Wale Adenuga is a songwriter, worship leader and social entrepreneur. He is best known for writing songs like Today O, You alone are worthy Lord, Glorify, Lord because of me amongst others. He is a 1991 Civil Engineering graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
He has recorded several live worship albums in collaboration with renowned worship leaders like Bob Fitts, Lenny Leblanc, Nathaniel Bassey, Panam Percy Paul and others.
Wale is the convener of the Worship for Change concerts in Nigeria. Worship for Change helps to raise awareness and support for orphans and children with special needs. Over 160 million naira has been raised and disbursed, directly impacting thousands of children.
He’s also the Chief Responsibility Officer at Unboxed Conferences, an organization that organizes mentoring events for young professionals across Africa.
Wale is also the founder of Power of Thousand Foundation, a charity that encourages people to use the opportunity of events they celebrate to help make a difference with the primary school education of indigent children across Nigeria.
In 2018, Wale stepped down as lead pastor at RCCG, Jubilee Christian Centre, his home church for 24 years to focus on leading worship, teaching worship and also scale up on the social enterprises he is involved with.
He is married to Adebukola and they are blessed with a daughter.
